WHAT: FWISD Opinion Survey for Benbrook parents and citizens
WHERE: Online, through your home computer or a variety of alternative locations
WHEN: October 6 through October 17, 2008
SUMMARY: In preparation for the November 6th Benbrook-FWISD Town Hall forum, Benbrook parents and residents have a chance to register their opinions about the schools serving the Benbrook area.
The survey is available online. For those not having access to a home computer, several alternative locations are available for easy access to the survey.
“We have established a partnership with not only schools but also community organizations,” said Nancy Ricker, Director of FWISD’s Department of Parent and Public Engagement. “We are trying to make it as easy as possible for our parents to provide us feedback through this online survey.”
Locations where computers are available for the Benbrook survey are:
- Benbrook Elementary School
- Waverly Park Elementary School
- Leonard 6th Grade Center
- Leonard Middle School
- Western Hills High School
- Benbrook City Hall
- Benbrook Chamber of Commerce
- Benbrook Public Library
- Benbrook YMCA/Community Center
The Benbrook Chamber of Commerce will provide a link to the survey through its Home page. The City of Benbrook will advertise the survey through its cable access channel. The FWISD is purchasing newspaper and radio ads announcing the survey, as well as providing information through the District cable access channel, EdTV, Charter channel 30.
The Town Hall meeting will be held at Westpark Elementary School, 10117 Westpark Drive, Benbrook, Mapsco 86V, starting at 6:00 p.m.
