SUMMARY: Students at Fort Worth ISD’s historic I.M. Terrell Elementary School will receive brand new, blue, button-up cardigan sweaters. The sweaters have been approved to be a part of the I.M. Terrell school uniform.
The school’s Adopt-A-School partner, Johnston Legal Group has purchased over 300 sweaters and will deliver the gifts on Friday, December 19th. Johnston Legal Group has been the Adopt-a-School Partner for I.M. Terrell for several years. Previous gifts from Johnston Legal Group include computers and fundraisers.
“The people at Johnston Legal are really part of the I.M. Terrell family,” said Principal JoAnn Dickerson. “We are successful with our children because we have the support of organizations such as Johnston Legal.”
There are over 270 Adopt-A-School partners matched with schools in FWISD. Partners support student achievement by their sharing of business/community resources, perspectives and innovative ideas. The steadfast devotion of Adopt-A-School partners positively affects the lives of Fort Worth ISD students, teachers and families.
