Fourteen Confirmed, 17 Probable Cases of H1N1 in FWISD—Wednesday Update

The Tarrant County Public Health Department says, as of Wednesday, there are fourteen confirmed cases and seventeen probable cases of the H1N1 Influenza (Swine Flu) in the Fort Worth ISD. 

This includes a probable at one new school not before named, Rosemont Middle School, and a total of three new probable cases.

Fort Worth Independent School District will reopen schools for students on Friday, May 8, following the recommendation of the Tarrant County Public Health Department.

While health authorities have determined that the school district should be reopened, parents are urged to be vigilant.  Children who have flu symptoms and who are identified as having the flu should be kept at home for seven days.
