Fort Worth ISD Offers Free Summer Food Program 

Fort Worth, TX – There is a free lunch after all, as well as a free breakfast, and they're available in the Fort Worth ISD. 

With the onset of the summer months the Fort Worth ISD will again offer free breakfasts and lunches to children 18 years of age or under. 

The free meals are available at 92 school locations throughout the District and will be available from June 9 through July 1, 2009. The program is open to all children who wish to receive a free meal and does not require enrollment in any summer program. 

While this program does end on July 1, it will resume in late July when FWISD secondary schools begin their transition camps.  Start dates for the July programs vary from July 27 – August 14, depending on the school’s scheduled camp.
