Upgrade to MUNIS 7.3 Will Take Place This Month
New Options will be installed June 13 and June 14
The Fort Worth ISD will see a new and improved MUNIS system when the software system is upgraded this month to MUNIS 7.3
The new MUNIS will provide new menu options for all users as well as a host of new options, including:
- Enhanced HR job applicant tracking
- Student activity fund tracking
- Financial programs for asset depreciation, employee expenses, and item reorders
This upgrade will also make reconciliation tracking and reporting easier.
Because the installation is a significant one, the MUNIS system will be unavailable on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14.
However, this will be another positive step forward in the Fort Worth ISD’s use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and its goal to become a Digital District. Digital District reflects not only how the Fort Worth ISD is teaching and learning, but how the District must do business in the 21st Century.
