Fort Worth ISD’s Leake quoted in School Business Periodical 

Fort Worth ISD’s coordinator of District initiatives and grant evaluations, Michelle Leake, is quoted in a current issue of Texas School Business about strategies to hire –and retain -- alternatively certified math and science teachers. 

The article, “The Upside of a Down Economy,” is about recruiting math and science industry talent to the classroom -- and keeping them there.  In the story, Michelle addresses the impact of offering enhanced mentoring and induction programs for new hires. 

“Just as learning isn’t a one-size fits all, we have to adapt to who we’re providing professional development to,” Michelle is quoted as saying in the article, which begins on page 12.
