NEW WAYS TO GET TECHNOLOGY HELP IN FWISD
Fort Worth, Texas – The Fort Worth ISD Division of Technology has new ways of providing excellent customer service. Beginning Monday, June 15, 2009 there will be a new Customer Service Web site and phone number.
The new Web site is http://help.fwisd.org and the new phone number, 817-814-HELP (4357).
According to FWISD’s Chief Technology Officer Kyle Davie, the changes will make it much easier for District employees to get the assistance they need.
“This enhanced support simplifies the service request system and allows our internal customers to check on the status of their service requests,” said Mr. Davie. “This will help to decrease the resolution time and even provide some self-help solutions to get issues resolved sooner.”
The new Web site will assist answering such questions as “How do I know if my password is strong?” or “How do I know if my computer and information are protected.”
The Division of Technology group provides support for connectivity to over 140 sites that include schools, community centers and administrative buildings in the District. This connectivity includes network connections for over 25,000 client computers and printers at these facilities. Technology supports the computer applications that collect demographics, attendance, grading and associated data for the District’s nearly 80,000 students and nearly 10,000 employees.
