FORT WORTH ISD GRADUATES SUMMER SCHOOL STUDENTS  

WHAT: 2009 Summer School Graduation

WHERE: Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center, 5201 C.A. Roberson, Mapsco 92P

SUMMARY: The 2009 Fort Worth ISD Summer School Graduation exercise will be held Tuesday evening, July 30, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. The ceremony will take place at the Wilkerson Greines Activity Center. 

This evening’s ceremony will feature a welcome message from Charles Boyd, assistant superintendent for School Leadership. Greetings will be brought by Fort Worth ISD Board of Education Secretary and District 8 Representative Juan Rangel. 

Included in this year’s graduation will be forty-one students from eleven FWISD high school campuses. These students were required to complete regular coursework before being deemed eligible for a diploma. Another graduation ceremony will be held in August for students who had to complete TAKS testing requirements in order to graduate.
