Tonight’s Fort Worth ISD Board Meeting Will Be Streamed Live on Internet
Fort Worth, TX – The Fort Worth ISD Board of Education meeting will be streamed live tonight on the Internet. The inclusion of live streaming of Board meetings is the next step in FWISD’s Digital District plan.
“As long as you have access to the Internet, you will be able to watch the Board meetings from anywhere in the world,” said District Superintendent Melody Johnson. “It is crucial to our students that everyone have the opportunity to see and hear the decision-making process of the Board of Education.”

http://www.fwisd.org/comm/Pages/streaming_media.aspx. Without the link visit http://www.fwisd.org or click on the DEPARTMENTS tab on the header, select Communications Department from the alphabetical directory, click on Streaming Media and follow to the event you wish to watch.
In addition to live events archived video (video on demand) of Fort Worth ISD events, professional development videos and other FWISD-created content will is available for viewing under various subject headings.
There are some minimum technological requirements in order to see the online content. If you have a PC, you must be running Windows 98 or a later Operating system with at least a 233 MHz processor Pentium II and 64 MB of RAM. Mac users need a G3 or newer with Mac OS X installed. Beta versions of Internet Explorer or Windows Media Player are not supported.
