Bloodborne Pathogens District Employee Training 

Fort Worth, Texas – The Texas Department of State Health Services requires school districts to provide Bloodborne pathogen training at the beginning of each school year. 

The bloodborne pathogen training for Fort Worth ISD is now available in an online course. The online training can be found under the Online Training link at http://help.fwisd.org.  Employees should read the directions carefully and follow the instructions contained in the “Bloodborne Pathogen Course Overview”. The course is available in both English and Spanish. 

If, after completing the online course, employees have remaining questions they should contact a school nurse or the Health Services Department at 817-871-2190. 

The deadline for completion of the online Bloodborne Pathogens course is October 1, 2009.
