Fort Worth ISD Lowers Flags to Half-Staff in Memory of Senator Kennedy

Fort Worth ISD campuses and buildings will lower the U.S. and Texas state flags to half-staff to pay tribute to the memory of Senator Edward M. Kennedy.

On August 27, 2009, Governor Rick Perry as a mark of respect for this widely regarded leader directed all flags be lowered to half-staff immediately on all public buildings and grounds, including public schools from sunrise to sunset.
