SEASONAL FLU VACCINATIONS AVAILABLE
Fort Worth, Texas – Seasonal flu vaccinations will be available for Fort Worth ISD Central Administration, Warehouse and Maintenance staffs on Friday, October 2, 2009.
Maintenance and Warehouse employees should report to the Maintenance Conference Room between 7:00 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. Central Administration workers should assemble in the building lobby between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon. School nurses are arranging for flu vaccinations on their respective campuses.
Concentra Medical Centers will administer the vaccinations. The cost is $20 per person. If paying in cash, please have the exact amount. Credit cards will be accepted, but please, no checks. Pneumonia vaccines will not be available at these FWISD events.

Tarrant County Public Health continues to offer seasonal flu shots at several locations throughout the county with five more events scheduled for September.
Seasonal flu shots will be offered from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following dates and locations:

St. Paul United Methodist Church, 852 Bedford-Euless Road, Hurst, TX
Thursday, Sept. 17
First United Methodist Church Mansfield. 777 N. Walnut Creek Dr., Mansfield, TX
Tuesday, Sept. 22
Polytechnic United Methodist Church, 1310 South Collard, Fort Worth, TX
Thursday, Sept. 24
Westworth Church of Christ, 5728 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, TX
Tuesday, Sept. 29
Christ Church Assembly of God, 5301 Altamesa Blvd., Fort Worth, TX
Tarrant County flu shots are $20 per person and must be paid in cash. Medicaid, Medicare and Secure Horizons are accepted.
