PARENTS CAN GET ANSWERS WITH “PARENT INFO LINE”
Fort Worth, Texas – A Strategic Goal of the Fort Worth Independent School District is to increase family involvement in the education of children. With that in mind, FWISD has refreshed the Parent Info Line, formerly known as Telelink.
Parent Info Line is a service of the District’s Parent and Public Engagement Office (PPE). The phone line is intended to provide a helping hand to parents who have education or District related questions regarding practices, policies and priorities. Additionally, parents can provide suggestions on how to improve District services.
“Our refreshed Parent Info Line is a two-way street of communication,” said Nancy Ricker, Executive Director of Parent and Public Engagement. “Parents who have questions about TAKS testing dates, report cards, special events, adult education classes, volunteer opportunities and a whole variety of other inquires can call and get answers.”
Parent Info Line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is operated in both English and Spanish. Questions left by parents will be answered by a Parent Engagement Specialist within 24 hours.
The Parent Info Line is 817-871-2317.
