Last chance for back-to-school shots offered this Saturday

Tarrant County Public Health wants to help kids get back to school 

           Tarrant County Public Health will hold its last back-to-school shot event at La Gran Plaza Mall, 4200 S. Freeway in Fort Worth,    Saturday, Oct. 10 beginning at 8 a.m.

            Hundreds of kids in Tarrant County still need back-to-school shots, which has created long lines and long waits.

            “This is our way of trying to help get those kids back in school,” said Ann Salyer-Caldwell, associate director of community health promotion.

            Parents need to remember to bring their child’s shot record. The cost is $10 for all shots needed.
