VOLUNTEER FOR THE “SPIRIT OF POLY”  

Fort Worth, Texas - Volunteers are needed to assist with a wide variety of activities during the “Celebrate the Spirit of Poly” Parade and Festival. Fort Worth ISD employees are especially encouraged to volunteer. 

Supporters of Fort Worth ISD’s Polytechnic High School will sponsor a Celebrate the Poly Spirit fall festival and celebration honoring Poly HS students, faculty and staff for their remarkable achievements on last spring’s TAKS test.   

A parade featuring the Poly High School student body, the school band and local and state dignitaries will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 31 at the high school. The parade will wind west on Rosedale to the campus Texas Wesleyan University, ending in front of the Eunice and James L. West Library.  

Volunteers are urgently needed to assist with: 


·        Face Painting    

·        Event Operations

·        Volunteer Coordinators

·        Candy Distributors

·        Parade Staging

·        Game Operators

·        Crowd Control

·        Pumpkin Decorating
