FWISD STUDENT IN INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE COMPETITION 

Fort Worth, Texas – Fort Worth ISD student Sai Gourisanker is one of only twelve students nationally who have been selected to participate in the Internationale Deutcholympiade. The National Preliminary Round USA will be held in Chicago, November 12-13, 2009. 

The Internationale Deutcholympiade is sponsored by the International Association of Teachers of German, the Goethe-Institutes USA and American Association of Teachers of German.  

The top two finalists selected in Chicago will travel to Hamburg, Germany next summer for the international competition. 

Sai, a junior at Paschal High School, will be accompanied to Chicago by his German teacher, Laura Boyle.
