CELEBRATING OUR STUDENTS’ ABILITIES 

Fort Worth, Texas - Fort Worth ISD’s Special Education Department is inviting all parents of students with special needs to take part in Celebrating Our Students’ Abilities. The event will take place on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Professional Development Center, 3150 McCart Ave., Fort Worth. 

Celebrating Our Students’ Abilities will feature student presentations and parent workshops dealing with the Inclusion Initiative, Transition Services, Family Support and the Admission, Review and Dismissal process. 

The District will provide dinner, childcare, transportation and translators. Those who attend will also be eligible for a number of door prizes.
