SPECIAL U.S.FLAG FLYING OVER FWISD  

Fort Worth, Texas – A U.S. flag flown over an undisclosed military facility in the Middle East is flying over the Fort Worth ISD Administration Building for Veterans Day. 

The flag has been provided to the District by the spouse of a District employee. A certificate of authenticity accompanied the flag. 

At 7:00 a.m. this morning, a JROTC contingent from North Side High School raised the flag on the roof of the Administration Building. Co-workers of the employee who provided the flag attended the brief ceremony.   

The Fort Worth ISD is extremely proud of the contributions made to the armed forces by members of its immediate and extended family. The District extends a sincere “Thank You!” to all those who have served and who continue to serve.
