YMLA HOSTS CAMPUS INFORMATION SESSIONS

Fort Worth, Texas – Parents and students are invited to learn more about the Paul Laurence Dunbar Young Men’s Leadership Academy (YMLA), Fort Worth ISD's first single-gender school for boys.

The Academy offers students a rigorous college preparatory curriculum that begins in 6^th grade. Students who graduate from the YMLA will uphold the values of courage, honor and responsibility.

Principal Rodney White is hosting information sessions across the District.

YMLA will open to 6^th and 7^th grade boys for the 2012-2013 school year. The plan is to add a grade level each year with the first 12^th grade class to graduate in 2018.
