TANGLEWOOD ELEMENTARY HONOR CHOIR SINGS NATIONAL ANTHEM
3rd and 4th Graders Shine on the Big Screen
The Tanglewood Elementary School Honor Choir was recently in the spotlight - and literally on the big screen - before a sold-out crowd at the Ballpark in Arlington.
Students sang the National Anthem before more than 47,000 people at the Texas Rangers game on Saturday, May 12.
The group performed like pros – hitting every high note and remembering every word!
The home team went on to defeat the Los Angeles Angels, 10-3.
The Tanglewood Honor Choir is made up of fifty 4th and 5th grade students who tried out and were selected for the choir based on singing ability, character and grades.
The group is directed by Robyn Dellamura, choir and 3rd grade teacher.
