FWISD Students Win Merit Scholarships
Fort Worth, Texas - Three Fort Worth ISD students have been selected as additional winners of National Merit Scholarships. The awards, financed by colleges and universities, were announced by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
This final group of winners brings the number of 2012 National Merit Scholars to approximately 8,100 nationwide. These distinguished high school graduates will receive scholarships for undergraduate study worth a total of over $35 million.

Jacob W. Curtis, Arlington Heights High School

William F. Lyles, Robert L. Paschal High School
Probable career field: Mechanical Engineering/Computer Science
NATIONAL MERIT TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP
Emily A. Meigs, Robert L. Paschal High School
Probable career field: Mathematics
NATIONAL MERIT RICE UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP
