Fort Worth ISD Begins Process to Select Student Information System

The Fort Worth ISD is working with the Center for Educational Leadership and Technology (CELT) in the selection process of the District’s Student Information System. 

“It is our obligation to find the best product out there to serve the Fort Worth ISD,” says Superintendent Walter Dansby.

CELT has begun the process of interviewing District personnel to determine requirements for the next student information system. The kickoff of the project began in July with three days of roundtable discussions.  Additional meetings will take place August 14-16.  If you have any opinions you’d like to share regarding this process or system requirements, contact your building principal or supervisor or Marcia.Formby@fwisd.org, Sue.Guthrie@fwisd.org or Kyle.Davie@fwisd.org.

Below is the timeline for the needs identification, selection and implementation of the Student Information System.  It’s divided into three phases, culminating with the successful implementation in the 2013-14 school year.
