FWISD CONCLUDES FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL

District Closed on Labor Day

Fort Worth, Texas – The Fort Worth ISD concluded the first week of school with 81,740 students in attendance. That’s 184 more students than concluded the 2012-2013 school year in May.

Peak attendance last year was 83,220 recorded in late September.

Fort Worth ISD campuses and Central Administration will be closed for the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 3, 2012. Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 4 at the regularly scheduled time.
