PTA TRAINING DAY 

Fort Worth, Texas - On Saturday, September 29, the Fort Worth ISD Council of PTAs will hold its annual PTA Training Day for PTA board members. The training day will take place at the District’s Professional Development Center, 3150 McCart Avenue from 9 a.m.to 4 p.m. These classes are for PTA members and focus on training current PTA leaders. Over 400 participants are scheduled to attend this training to increase memberships at campuses across the District.  

In addition, free workshops for Officers and Chairs will be presented on a variety of topics including how to be a President, Treasurer, Secretary, Membership Chair, Volunteer Coordinator or Parliamentarian. Included will be information on how to solicit for and conduct nominations, elections and meetings.  A Vendor Resource Fair with door prizes will run all day for attendees.
