Find Your Gold Seal Pathway to Success at Western Hills

Western Hills High School offers unmatched power of choice. Five Gold Seal Programs of Choice provide hands-on learning and opportunities to earn certifications, internship and even college credits. That can save families thousands of dollars in college costs.

Business Management – This program immerses students in the modern business world where they learn finance, law and marketing skills. Students can earn certifications and paid business experience in a real work setting.

Creative Connections in Audio/Video Production – Video production classes teach students the art of filmmaking. Graphics classes teach all the skills that are part of the modern graphics industry.

International Baccalaureate World School (IB) – Western Hills is the only school in the District to offer a range of programs by the IB. The rigorous curriculum is project and inquiry based. IB opens the door for college admission, scholarships and 24 hours of college credit.

Project Lead the Way – S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) students get to work with industry leaders in the community and earn important certifications. While learning 21st century skills, students also learn the importance of engineering and architecture to a global economy.

Teaching & Learning – This program throws open the door to a variety of education careers. Students can even earn internships at area elementary schools – learning so much themselves as they help teach others.
