The Fort Worth Civic Orchestra’s Teddy Bear concert is an annual event to assist the Fort Worth Police Department. The concert is free of charge, but patrons are asked to bring a stuffed animal to donate to the FWPD. Officers give out the stuffed toys to comfort young children they encounter at crime scenes and domestic violence calls.
This year’s program will feature original works written by students from other school districts. The Fort Worth Civic Orchestra is under the direction of Kurt Sprenger. The concert gets underway at 7pm in Truett Auditorium at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
