What: Fort Worth Technology Conference 2013 – Transform Your Classroom
When: Saturday, January 26, 2013, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Southwest High School, 4100 Altamesa Blvd., Fort Worth, Mapsco 89Y
Summary: The Fort Worth ISD 2013 Technology Conference will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013, Southwest High School. Sessions begin at 8 a.m. and are open to all District teachers, administrators and staff.
The Technology Conference is a great place to learn best practices for engaging students with technology. There will be presentations by Fort Worth ISD teachers, administrators and guest presenters, including a keynote address by Kathy Schrock. Ms. Schrock is known for her practical presentations dealing with pedagogically-sound practices for embedding technology seamlessly into teaching and learning.
Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day and include great technology tools for your classroom. One large campus and one small campus will receive a special award for having the highest attendance at FWTC 2013.
Lunch is provided for all registered FWTC participants. Be sure and select your lunch choice during the registration process.
All FWTC participants who pre-register by January 18 will receive an 8GB flash drive at conference check-in. For questions or help with registration, call 817-814-3100.
