“The day starts early and ends late at the Fort Worth ISD.” And in between, we are Making Every Second Count. That’s the theme for the Fort Worth ISD 2010-2011 Annual Report published today by the District.
The report underscores that the District is making the most of every day, every hour and every minute with students. The report also shows how the District is making every cent count - a responsibility made even more urgent by the state funding crisis.
“We managed to minimize the impact of the crisis on campuses,” said interim Superintendent Walter Dansby.
Another emphasis in the report is how the District is making every connection count by continuing to build partnerships with parents and the community.
The condensed, contemporary format of the 2010-2011 FWISD Annual Report:
- Includes a fold-out highlighting a typical day at Fort Worth ISD
- Lets the numbers and photographs tell the stories of achievement and growth
- Is both informative and fun to read
The report concludes with a look to the future and the changes facing the District in the new school year and beyond.
