External Research Projects

The Fort Worth ISD will allow qualified individuals and organizations to engage in professional research and evaluation projects. This provision applies to individuals or agencies not associated with FWISD and to FWISD employees conducting research outside the scope of their employment with FWISD.

All external research must have approval prior to data collection. All researchers are asked to submit a completed copy of the district's External Research Application. Applications are reviewed internally using applicable Research and Evaluation Standards.

The review cycle begins on the first Monday of:

September
October
November
February
March
June

Please note that proposals take about 30 days once the review cycle begins. Please plan your study accordingly.
