CREATIVE HEIGHTS
Creative Heights provides students with opportunities to discover and polish their skills and talents in creative arts. The course selections in dance, musical theatre and Art Portfolio Project are designed to allow students to further differentiate and refine their skills as a performer in dance or musical theatre. The Art Portfolio Project is designed to allow students to express creativity and individuality through different 2D and 3D mediums of art including jewelry design, photography and drawing.

HEIGHTS ACADEMY
Heights Academy provides pathways for motivated students, who have not selected a specific career preference, to attain college credit as they complete their high school diploma. Students will complete honors or Pre-AP level classes that will support their preparation for success in the AP level classes in the same disciplines. Students may also choose to participate in various dual credit opportunities in partnership with Tarrant County College. Heights Academy students are expected to graduate with the Distinguished Achievement Program diploma.

HEIGHTS AGRICULTURE & HORTICULTURE

Heights Agriculture and Horticulture gives students an opportunity to prepare for careers in veterinary medicine, landscaping and nursery businesses, floral design, horticulture, wildlife management, agriculture business/ finance, animal science biotechnology, meat science, animal science research and soil and plant science research. Courses are designed to lead the students to a practicum in agriculture, food and natural resources and certifications for veterinary assistants, floral design, Texas Certified Nursery, Texas Master Gardener or Private Pesticide Applicator.

CERTIFICATIONS: CERTIFIED VETERINARY ASSISTANT, FLORAL DESIGN, TEXAS CERTIFIED NURSERY PROFESSIONAL, TEXAS MASTER GARDENER, PRIVATE PESTICIDE APPLICATOR

MARKETING NEW HEIGHTS
Marketing New Heights creates a pathway for students who are interested in marketing for a variety of businesses. Beyond the entry class that teaches the principles of business, marketing and finance, students study advertising and marketing for travel and tourism, fashion, sports, entertainment and/or entrepreneurship. Upperclassmen have work opportunities in these industries or may choose to do an internship or practicum.
