CULINARY ARTS ACADEMY
The Culinary Arts Academy at South Hills High School is a unique program that jumpstarts careers in the food industry by providing restaurant curriculum and chef school certifications. Students gain experience through working in the school’s Scorpion Cafe. The four-year curriculum prepares students for entry in both the restaurant field and postsecondary education. The Culinary Arts Academy is an innovative program designed to allow students to earn certification and gain real work experience in a restaurant kitchen.

DIGITAL GRAPHICS & GAMING (DGG)
The Digital Graphics and Gaming (DGG) is a program of choice within South Hills High School that is designed to launch students into a high tech career, which include exploring Real Time Interactive Simulation and Game Design. Students will engage in classes that provide hands-on experience in production, animation and game design. Students will have the opportunity to earn industry standard certifications as well as participate in internships with leading companies in digital graphics and gaming.

CERTIFICATIONS: ADOBE CERTIFIED ASSOCIATE, ADOBE CERTIFIED EXPERT, INTERNET & COMPUTING, WEB PROFESSIONAL
