Fort Worth ISD selected AECOM (formerly DMJM Management) to serve as the Program Manager for the 2007 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). One of the largest and most experienced program management firms with K-12 education bond programs, AECOM has served four of the five largest school districts in the nation and employs 41,000 people worldwide. Engineering News-Record (ENR) has ranked AECOM as #1 in Education for eight consecutive years.
In the State of Texas, AECOM is also one of the Program Managers for the Dallas Independent School District, the Dallas County Community College District and the Houston Independent School District Bond Programs. With a national reputation for sustainable design building solutions tailored to clients’ needs, AECOM assisted Fort Worth ISD in developing its long-term sustainability design policy, making Fort Worth ISD the first school district within Texas to have a formal policy that guides sustainability decision-making for both A/E firms and contractors.
AECOM’s experience, core values and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in building a strong reputation and credibility for the CIP from the start. Fort Worth ISD and AECOM staff work together as one team to deliver quality projects in support of the District’s vision and to serve the students, faculty, staff and Fort Worth community.
