Job Order Contracting (JOC)
This method of procurement is primarily used to supplement the work of General Contractors. Its main goal is to minimize the disruption of the school operations and is intended to complete additional work discovered after the main work has proceeded.
Another reason to use the services of JOC firms is to ensure that smaller construction companies have an opportunity to participate and share the work of the CIP.
