High School Reunions

Daggett Elementary Centennial Celebration

Due to Monday the 9th of November being a training day we are moving activities around for the centennial. The changes are as follows.

Tuesday November 10th
Day to celebrate the arts of the last 100 years Interactive Art Activities and a display of current and past students work. Dance and PE celebration of a century. Students will participate in physical activities that students would have participated in over the last 100 years. Interactive Games and Dance programs will be conducted for all grade levels.

Wednesday November 11th
Veterans Day celebration and Patriotic program. Presentation of the U. S. and State Flags to the school. Presentation for the new Daggett flag designed by one of the current students. Memorial for Veterans.

Thursday, November 12, 2009: Day long activities for the school including historical displays, memorabilia and a program to celebrate the last century at Daggett.

Friday, November 13, 2009: Celebration of The Fort Worth Day School for the Deaf. The students will be conducting a program both in sign and spoken for the Alumni from the Fort Worth Day School for the Deaf. The alumni will have a luncheon and then visit with classes on the historical significance of the program that started here at Daggett.

Saturday, November 14, 2009: Possible parade in the neighborhood and then open house of the school.

The school will be open for visitors all week. Student ambassadors will be available to tour alumni, their families and dignitaries. For more information, contact Cathryn.Record-Horn.
