This framework will promote Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and allow integration to various applications and datasources that will provide services to approved audiences. Information could be consolidated, shared through a single point of access. Provide teachers the tools and information on student performance, expand parent communication, Provide administrators with tools and information on campus & district performance. Improve Family Involvement and Community Partnerships provide parents access, child’s performance, child’s assignments/activities, provide community access to district events Involvement opportunities.

Identity Management

The Identity Management System will integrate with FWISD's existing infrastructure to automate and centralize identity lifecycle processes and tools that were historically disparate and manual. This system will boost and improve operational efficiency, incorporate strong authentication tools, reduce future integration and customization tools, improve security and compliance, and allow for self service for all District personnel.

Curriculum Frameworks

Fort Worth Independent School District (FWISD) has updated the already easy-to-use, computer-based solution to facilitate in the advancement of the district curriculum called the Curriculum Frameworks System (CFS), which is going to be utilized to help teachers and administrators create, maintain and evolve the curriculum taught in the classroom.
