 Who We Are

Campus Support is the front line for the Division of Technology.  The Campus Support Specialists are the people who will come to you when you are having a technology problem.  Be it a computer that won’t come on, a printer that won’t print or an email that won’t mail, we will be there to fix it.  Our team members take pride in forming personal, human relationships with the customers we serve in the district.  You probably already know us, or would at least recognize our faces.

Although there have been many changes in technology recently and there are more to come, Campus Support will still be there to help explain and make it all work the way it should.  Campus Support is changing too. We have new challenges to face, and a renewed sense of purpose.  It is all in the name. Our job is to support you.

 What We Have Accomplished

Over the summer, we replaced more than 1,000 outdated computers at 6 campuses, and did the leg work of converting many more to the District’s active directory.

We helped Network operations shutdown old Novell Servers at more than 20 campuses.

We studied hard and took the tests required to let us do our own warranty repair work on the new HP computers, saving time and money for the district.

We have addressed more than 1,900 separate issues since the beginning of the school year in late August.

 Where We Are Going

This fall we will be involved in a District-wide refresh of outdated computers at campuses throughout the district.

We are working to ensure that every school has a lab that is fully suited for the upcoming online testing in March.

We are gearing up to be able to image and laser etch the district’s new computers so that we can maintain a “rolling inventory” of hardware. This will allow us to drastically reduce the time it takes between you order a new computer, and when it is up and running in the classroom.
