AVATAR UpdateWe are pleased to announce that starting in January; all administrative personnel will be able to register for training courses in the Fort Worth ISD Online Professional Development Registration System, known as Avatar. No longer will administrative personnel need to fill out the district registration form and fax their request to the Educational Technology Department. Registration for all administrative personnel courses like: MUNIS, SASI, and eSchoolMall, will take place entirely on the web.
During November and December, administrative personnel may register for courses using the Avatar system or they may fax the district registration form into the Educational Technology department at 817-922-6967. Beginning in January, faxed registration forms will no longer be accepted.
Login Information
To log into Avatar, go to http://fortworth.avatarlms.com/login.html
Your username and password are both your firstname.lastname. After you log on, you will receive a prompt to change your password. If you ever forget your password, just click "Forgot Username or Password" under the login area and your password will be emailed to you. If you are unable to log in, it may be because you are not in the Avatar system. If this happens, call 817-922-4400 for assistance.
