The Principals' Academy 2009-2010

Here it is, for the second year, Educational Technology is offering principals a way to earn and learn new technologies. As a response to last year’s success, Educational Technology, in cooperation with Leadership, is pleased to offer the administrator training program, developed just for campus administrators, again.

The Principals’ Technology Academy 1.0 is for principals that missed the opportunity of the Academy last year. Principals will earn a brand new laptop to use as long as they stay in the district. Laptops will be distributed at the beginning of the Academy to give principals a chance to work on the laptop while learning in the sessions.

Principals’ Technology Academy 2.0 is for the principals who participated in and completed last year’s academy. The sessions will build on previous knowledge, while building more advanced skills. A ScanSnap portable color scanner will be available for our Year 2 participants.

Because we appreciate how busy you are this time of year, and since there are a few spots still available, faxed applications will be accepted up until December 1st.

If you are interested, please complete the included agreement and fax to 817.922.6967, attention Becky Navarre, as soon as possible.
