Leadership Academy (LA)
Leadership Academy is a motivational and leadership program that helps students discover their voice and learn to believe in themselves. Fort Worth ISD’s incoming 9th through 10th graders will stay at Texas Christian University for four days and three nights where they meet and interact with their peers, trainers, and college students. They participate in team building activities and learn leadership skills that will help them through life, while engaging in challenging mental and physical activities. Additionally, they engage in workshops on college admissions, scholarship applications, and leadership practices.
