Grants & Development

The Fort Worth ISD Grants & Development Department provides information on grant availability and technical assistance to District staff, primarily from state and federal governmental sources.

The Grants & Development Department serves as the District clearinghouse for all grant applications and awards. We seek to identify, cultivate, and manage external funding opportunities and provide direction for the proposal development process, including use of research-based methods to promote project innovation.

The Grants & Development Department is a central source to coordinate stakeholder collaboration in grant activities across the District: campus and central office staff, community partners and intra-District departments. Our mission places emphasis on providing assistance in obtaining external funding for educational programs of distinction which prepare students for academic achievement and graduation. An additional priority is to encourage and enhance opportunities for faculty and staff to introduce research based and proven educational programs aligned to District priorities and initiatives.
