Poly HS Band Wins Big at Region VII UIL Concert
This past Tuesday, the Polytechnic High School Band competed in Region VII Concert for Music Performance and Sight Reading.  The performance competition took place in the Burleson High School auditorium. 

The Poly Band won a sweepstakes trophy which is top honors, and is only acquired by getting a first division win on both the concert and sight reading portion of the competition.  There were only five Fort Worth bands that received a sweepstakes trophy this week. 

This is the first time in 50 years that the Poly Band has won a sweepstakes trophy for concert and music sight reading!  Congratulations to Mrs. Ocampo and Mr. Rosales, Poly Band Directors, and to the award winning Poly Band!
