Dare To Discover summer program - register now!
DARE TO DISCOVER is a two-week High Academic Program (HAP) Summer Camp that offers multi-aged classes for students who enjoy being academically challenged.  All classes provide interactive, kinesthetic or hands-on activities that inspire creativity, problem solving, and critical thinking.  Classes will be taught by instructors with training in gifted education and/or by community artists.  Each class is two hours in length.  Classes are subject to cancellation if a minimum enrollment is not reached.

GENERAL INFORMATION

June 11-22, 2012
Time: 
8:15 – 10:15 a.m. and/or 10:30 – 12:30 p.m.
Location: 
Jean McClung Middle School, 3000 Forest Ave.  76112
Transportation:  Not provided

Snacks:  Classes will be completed before lunchtime.  Students may bring a healthy snack and milk, juice or bottled water to eat/drink between classes.  (No soft drinks or energy drinks permitted.)

Age:  Entering 1st through entering 5th grade

Class size:  Approximately 15 students per class

Cost:  $75.00 for the one class and $75.00 for the second class.  A limited number of partial scholarships are available for qualifying families.  No refunds will be made.

Registration:  Mail the application form and payment to the following address.  Application and payment  are due by June 1, 2012.  An email confirmation will be sent.
