McKinney Memorial Bible Church Servolution at Westcliff Elementary

McKinney Memorial Bible Church came out to Westcliff Elementary School on Saturday, March 31, 2012, beginning at 8 a.m. to help make improvements to our campus and bless the families with a fun day.

This was all part of the vision of the church to reach out in love and service to their community.  They had more than 300 volunteers come to campus, along with 250 of our own students and parents.  It was truly amazing to watch these gracious people cover the campus in organized teams attacking big painting, remodeling and landscaping jobs!

McKinney volunteers made improvements to the front of the building, which included painting front doors and signs.  They purchased and installed six beautiful red benches along the front entry paths for families to enjoy!

The improvements moved into the building with a total remodel of our teachers’ lounge. The teachers feel overwhelmed by the beautiful new furniture, paint and refrigerator. It has become a nice, warm and comfortable area for the teachers to enjoy.

Along with all the improvements, the volunteers made lunch for the Westcliff families.  Westcliff families were invited to come, eat, and enjoy some family fun with bounce houses and games!

Westcliff families, staff and administrators feel loved and overwhelmed by the compassion that was demonstrated by McKinney Memorial Bible Church.  Thank you McKinney for all you have done for Westcliff Elementary!
