Maude I. Logan Elementary Celebrates Cinco de Mayo and Reading

On Thursday, May 3, Maude I. Logan Elementary School held an event celebrating both Cinco de Mayo and literacy.  More than 400 people in attendance were treated to a performance by the Pre-K and Kindergarten students.

In addition, there were various activities available throughout the building culminating with an authentic Mexican dinner in the cafeteria.  Each child in attendance left with a free book to help them remember to read throughout the summer.  All in attendance had a wonderful time!
