Teachers Organize Soccer Tournament for INA Students

Two first year teachers, Evan Mirolla from INA and Aaron Aguirre-Castillo from O.D. Wyatt, organized a soccer tournament for their students Saturday, May 12. It was played on the fields at O.D. Wyatt.

This is the second tournament that the two Teach for America teachers have organized and hosted this year. Many of the students who attend INA live within walking distance of Wyatt, and a number of the students who transition out of INA transfer into Wyatt. So, it’s a way to bring students together and continue to build a support network of peers; not to mention it’s a day of sport and fun!
