Sam Rosen Elementary Challenges Students to "Junk the Junk Food"

Sam Rosen Elementary School is issuing a challenge!  Junk the Junk Food is a new contest for students and teachers to improve their health by making better food choices.

Each day a health-related fact has been shared during morning announcements. Teachers have created classroom lessons to encourage students' healthy eating habits.

Students have been tracking their food choices and will submit documentation to their teachers. The winning classes will win a "healthy snack" party! All participants will earn a certicifcate of recognition for their efforts.

Special thanks to Ms. Armenta for sponsoring this event and the Sam Rosen sports teams for encouraging students to live healthier lives!
