School Leadership & Student Support Services
The School Leadership and Student Support Services Department directs the operation, planning, development and administration in support of the District's mission to provide and support rigorous learning opportunities that result in successful completion of a quality high school experience for all 79,000+ students in 80 elementary, 24 middle and 6th grade, 13 high and 25 special schools (20 of which are alternative). Provides leadership, assistance and supervision to the assistant superintendent's of elementary school leadership; secondary school services; student support services human resources; executive director of leadership & development and, the director of professional standards, while providing supervision to the 323 campus administrators and 5,907 teachers.
