 Elementary Summer School Program

The Elementary Summer School Program is for students who were in 1st – 5th grade during school year 2012-2013 and need additional academic support to be on grade level. Students will be identified to participate in learning activities that focus on effective academic preparation for the upcoming school year.

The purpose of the elementary summer school program is to provide intense instruction for 1st-5th grade students to master the required skills from their current grade level and be prepared to enter the 2013-2014 school year. Special attention will be paid to fundamental math and reading skills.

Schedule

GRADE DATE TIME
1st - 4th grades Tuesday, June 11 – Friday, June 21 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
5th grade Tuesday, June 11 – Wednesday, June 26 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Each campus administrative team will identify students who qualify for the summer school program and will notify parents by letter within the last six weeks of school. Detailed information about the program will be sent to each family who will have children attending summer school. If you have any questions about the summer school program, please contact your child’s school administration.
