Mission Statement:

The mission of Fort Worth Independent School District libraries is to create opportunities for students to experience the joy of learning while contributing to their successful performance as students and lifelong users of information.

Vision:

Fort Worth Independent School District Library Media Services envisions a program where students will attain knowledge and skills to become accomplished readers, independent learners, critical thinkers, creative problems solvers, and informed citizens through the expertise of school librarians and the use of resources and services provided by school library programs.
