Educational Verification Requests

Information for current and prior year graduates must be requested from the school the student attended; all other requests should be sent to the Student Records Office.

Requests for educational verifications may be sent by email to gradverify@fwisd.org, or via fax; 817-814-3255. Verifications are not conducted over the phone. Verifications must be on company or college letterhead. Any verification received from an unknown party will be destroyed in order to safeguard the students privacy.

The following information is required on company letterhead to conduct an educational verification:

• the student's name used in school
• date of birth or year graduated
• school attended
• signed student release & disclosure

Verifications take approximately 3 working days to complete, and are processed in order of receipt.  Responses will be returned via fax or email.

If a student does not have a graduation date on the transcript, the last grade and school year the student was enrolled will be provided on the verification request.
